Austin's Ordination

Congratulations, Rachael on your acheivment! That is really great!

We sent the following in an email, but thought we would post it to the family blog as well to make sure you all see it:

Austin was sustained a Deacon today, and will be ordained next Sunday, August 31, 2008. We would like to invite all of you to Austin’s special day. We understand if you cannot attend due to the time of year (school starting) and the distance it is for most of you. If you are able to make it, please RSVP by Thursday so we can plan a lunch. If you are unable to make it, we are sure Austin would love to hear from you via phone or email. Let us know if you need the email address or phone #'s.

Triathlon

I Just wanted to let everyone know that I completed my first "Sprint" Triathlon (1/3 mile swim, 12.4 mile bike and 3.1mile run) last week. I completed it in just over 1 hr and 28 mins. It was so much fun and exhausting too! My next step is a half marathon at the end of October.
